Blood Memories

Ability
Description:
This Skill is used automatically upon feeding on a living being,
whether person or animal. This Skill can be called forth in a search
like manner so that the mind of the vampire is not overwhelmed
with too much knowledge. Please note, knowing something is
not always the same as understanding it. Using this Skill too many
times (after Feeding) can cause dizziness, disorientation and
unconsciousness.

Description:
Vampires can sense the general mood and emotions of those around
them. This can manifest in their minds in a myriad of ways, most
commonly as a 'wave' of emotions coming directly from a person. This
Skill can only be used once activated and not for a very long time,
at most it can last ten minutes. Extensive use can cause dizziness,
headache and nausea.

Description:
Vampires can sense the events and emotions surrounding a particular
object simply by touch. This Skill is not always in effect, so the Vampire
must consciously activate it. It cannot be used for a long period of
time and not too frequently. Extensive use will cause nausea,
lightheadedness and a sudden onset of Hunger.

Description:
This Skill is always in effect. Once aquired, the Vampire does not need
to Feed as frequently as usual. Feedings can go down to at least once
a week. Also, when not Fed, the Hunger comes is not as powerful as
before.

Description:
This Skill is always in effect. This allows the vampire to heal minor
wounds at will. The larger the wound, the more energy they expend
to heal it. Warning: any body part that is severed will not grow
back.

This Skill is always in effect. It allows a vampire to finally walk within
the sunlight without fear of harm or exhaustion. Fire still hurts them,
however.

Description:
This Skill is must be activated. This allows the vampire to
essentially 'disappear' from all five of the senses. They can only
achieve this when there is a sufficiently large enough shadow for
them to slip into. Then they can travel, soundlessly, from shadow to
shadow. As long as the shadow is as large as the vampire themselves.
This Skill does require energy and enormous amounts of it. Extended
use will result in enormous Hunger in which the vampire cannot
control themselves and must Feed on the nearest blood source.

Mind Probe
Class:
Activated
Description:
This Skill is must be activated. This allows the vampire to probe the
mind of any sentient being. This can be either animal or person.
A mental probe can only detect the surface thoughts of the mind
being probed. Anything deeper cannot be reached. A trained mind
can avoid being probed, if they know when the the Skill is being used.
This Skill requires no more energy than thinking. Extended use can
cause migraines, nausea and faintness. The vampire may also grow
slightly hungrier.

Description:
This Skill is always in effect. Essentially, this skill gives the vampire an
unconscious sexual aura. This aura can be used to cloud or distract
people but only when the vampire is in the immediate vacinity.
Once the vampire has left the sight of a person, their sexual aura is
soon forgotten. This skill does not use up energy and is as second
nature as Feeding is to a vampire.

Description:
This Skill must be activated. This skill is an elvolved form of Mind
Probe. Instead of just being able to read the surface thoughts of a
sentient being, the Vampire may pick apart the being's mind. Its
thoughts, plans, memories and feelings are at the vampire's disposal.
This requires a tremedous amount of energy, however, and can only
really be used one a week. Extended use will result in increased levels
of Hunger. Anxiety, insanity and paranoia are also risks.
The Vampire retains all memories they have sifted through and there
is no pain felt by the being that is Pierced.

Description:
This Skill must be activated. This allows the Vampire to enter a
sentient being's mind and speak directly to them. This causes no
discomfort to the listener, though it may cause confusion.
This skill does not require energy, its second nature to be able to do it
to a vampire. However, how the being listening responds is a risk that
is taken when using this skill.
